Dr. Chin
General Dentistry

Gary Chin, D.D.S.

Dr.Chin was born and raised in Northern California near Sacramento. He graduated from college at University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA with a B.S. in Chemistry-Biology. He studied at the Professional school in San Francisco, CA, University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.

Dr.Chin has been in practice for over 27 years and has experience in all areas of general and cosmetic dentistry. He currently performs procedures such as extractions, root canal treatment therapies, composite fillings, dentures, partial dentures, implant crown restorations, invisalign orthodontics, full mouth reconstruction and periodontal services such as deep cleanings, bone grafts and gum grafts.

Dr. Chin has been married for 26 years and has a son who is sophomore at Cedar Park Christian High School. During his spare time he enjoys fishing, gardening, hiking, painting, sculpturing and playing musical instruments. He is also a member of Bible Baptist Church in Everett.

Dr.Chin has received special recognitions with America’s Top Dentist 2005-2006 and 2009-2010 in Cosmetic dentistry and Esthetic Restoration. We feel very fortunate to have Dr.Chin at our Everett location as our Primary Care Dentist providing the best quality care for our patients.

Dr. Kim
General Dentistry

Stephen Kim, DDS

Dr. Stephen Kim was born and raised in Seattle. He earned his dental degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2009. Before joining Sunrise Dental, Dr. Kim practiced in a high-tech, modern dental office in Bellevue and gained experience in root canal treatment, oral surgery, implants, dentures and periodontal therapy. He values education and attends multiple conferences every year to advance and provide the best and most comprehensive treatment to his patients.

Dr. Kim is an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle King County Dental Society, the Washington Academy of General Dentistry and the Interdisciplinary Study Group Northwest. He is trying to attain his Fellowship in the Washington AGD, an award that requires at least 500 hours of continuing education and is an achievement only 7% of the nation’s dentists have accomplished.

Dr. Kim believes in serving his community and has teamed up with Medical Teams International to volunteer and provide emergency dental care to local homeless people around the greater Seattle area. He has also traveled to many countries around the world like China, Uzbekistan, Mexico and India to participate in outreach and mission work. On his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, golfing and running.

Edward Im, DDS

Dr. Edward Im is a Family, Comprehensive, Cosmetic dentist.

He grew up locally, while actively participating in numerous community sports and activities, and graduated as the valedictorian from Seattle University in 1995. Dr. Im has a unique background as a dentist, because he first went to Medical School at Creighton University and was a medical officer for the United States Army. However, after a heartfelt career change, he ultimately graduated with distinction and honors from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry.

Dr. Im is an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle-King County Dental Society. A perfectionist at heart, Dr. Im strives to achieve excellence with every procedure, while practicing compassion with a gentle touch.
