Dr. Mosquera
Periodontist
Betsy Mosquera, DDS, MS
Dr. Betsy Mosquera was born in Bogota, Colombia (South America). She
received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Medical School of
Colombia (Escuela Colombiana de Medicina) in 1991 and moved to the U.S.
in 1995. Prior to settling in Seattle, Dr. Mosquera had a chance to
experience life in Boston, Chicago, New York City, and Saint Louis.
While residing in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Mosquera received an advanced
dental degree in the field of Periodontics at Saint Louis University.
Dr. Mosquera is an active member of American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Mosquera directs our dental hygiene department. Dr. Mosquera takes
care of patients that may require an advanced periodontal care; these
treatments may include dental implants, surgical and non-surgical
treatment of periodontal disease and numerous other surgical procedures
that improve the health of her patients as well as their smile.
Dr. Do
General Dentistry
Chau Do, DMD
Dr. Chau Do graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Dental
Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in May of 2001. After graduation,
she joined the US Navy, and was stationed at Norfolk, VA and Pearl
Harbor, HI. In the Navy, she attained advanced training in the fields of
Oral Surgery and Endodontic, performing extensive wisdom teeth
extractions and root canals.
In 2004, Dr. Do was awarded the prestigious Commanding Officer Award for
Clinical Excellence. After four years in the military, Dr. Do settled
down in Seattle with her husband and three kids. She practices dentistry
whole-heartedly with the utmost care and gentleness, and is especially
wonderful with children and the most dental phobic patients.
Dr. Patel
General Dentistry
Payal Patel, DMD
Dr. Patel graduated
from the Medical College of Georgia (now called Georgia Health
Sciences University)
in Augusta, Georgia in May 2004. After graduation she joined the United States
Air Force where she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry
Residency in August 2005. During her
three years of service, she was stationed at Travis AFB in California and McChord AFB in Washington.
Dr. Patel lives in
the Seattle
area along with her husband and two children.
She enjoys practicing a full range of dentistry including root canals,
extraction, and dentures.
She is fluent in
Gujarati.
