John Kim, DDS

Dr. John Kim graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, California in May of 2001. After graduation, he voluntarily joined the US Army to serve his country and to gain more education and experience. He was stationed at Ft. Lewis in Tacoma, Washington. He received extensive training in several fields such as Endodontic treatment, Oral surgery, and Periodontal treatment.

In 2006, he opened a beautiful and modern dental clinic at Kent East Hill, and joined our team. Dr. Kim strives to educate his patients, and to deliver high quality care for his patients.

Heyri Yeom, DDS, MS

Dr. Yeom was born in Seoul, Korea. After graduating from high school, she began a long journey of dental education. She received her DDS from the School of Dentistry, Seoul National University in 1993. After graduation, Dr. Yeom continued her dental education specializing in Periodontics at Seoul National University Dental Hospital, where she completed a three year residency program. While she attended in Perio-Residency Program, Dr. Yeom pursued her Master Degree in Graduate School of Seoul National University (Periodontology). Dr. Yeom continued her career in Samsung Medical Center and Asan Medical Center as a Perio Fellow for three more years.

Dr. Yeom’s passions in Periodontology lead her to the US. She received her second Perio-Residency training in Indiana University School of Dentistry between 2002 and 2005, where she also earned Master Degree. After this long journey, Dr. Yeom has settled down in the Seattle- Bellevue area since 2006. Dr.Yeom enjoys her position with SunriseDental with her highest priority is a close doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Yeom treats all spectrums in Perio-Implant therapies including Sinus Augmentation and extensive bone graft surgeries. She focuses on excellence with updated technology.

Dr. Yeom has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (Board Certified Periodontist) since 2007. She is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.
