Sequim, Washington, known as the “Lavender Capital of North America”, is proud to have Sunrise Dental as their top dental care provider. Located in Clallam County along the Dungeness River near the base of the Olympic Mountains, Sequim is home to a comfortable population of just under 7,000. Its claim to fame is that they receive less than 15 inches of rain per year, about the same as Los Angeles, California! Sequim’s population has been increasing in recent years, and Sunrise Dental is ready to extend its Dental Care family as well.

Dr.Chia Lee graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2002. Before relocating to Washington in 2011, he worked 8 years in California.

At his spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys golfing and reading.

Jeffrey Hsu, DDS

Dr. Jeffrey Hsu did his Undergraduate Study- B.S. in Biological Sciences in University of California, Irvine, CA. He then attended dental school at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Hsu has been practicing dentistry since 2004 and has joined the Sunrise family since 2009.

Shioon Kim, DMD

Dr. Shioon Kim was born and grew up at South Korea. He served for the South Korean Military for 3 years. He received B.S. in Education (Biology), KongJu National Univ. South Korea in Feb. 1993. He moved to Hawaii for further study after he married his wife, Yeon mi.

He received B.S. in Biochemistry, BYU-Hawaii in 2001 and Doctor of Dental Medicine, School of Dental Medicine, Case Western Reserve Univ. in 2005. During his dental school, he researched“Human Beta Defense (Hbd-1, -2, and -3) functions against bacteria”, Case School of Dental Medicine 2002 and published it with ADA. He has five children including twins with his wife. He loves to his children and to meditate the meaning of life. He likes to play soccer, badminton, and swimming. He is eager to serve our community for betterment.
