Juli Chue-Gomez, DDS

Dr. Chue-Gomez was raised in Tacoma, Washington. She attended Willamette University in Salem, OR where she double-majored in Spanish and Chemistry, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the UW School of Dentistry. She graduated with honors in dentistry and was given numerous awards during her studies there.

Dr. Chue-Gomez keeps current in the latest techniques by attending various continuing dental education courses in the Tacoma-Seattle area. She is an active member of several local and national dental societies, including the Pierce County Dental Society, Washington State Dental Association, and American Dental Association. Her goal is to provide thorough and optimal care, while maintaining a gentle touch to give each patient a positive experience. She also believes in giving back to the community and volunteers her time throughout the year.

When she is not pursuing her professional passion, Dr. Chue-Gomez enjoys spending time with her family and her one-year-old german shephard. She loves to travel and is a big fan of the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners.

Dr. Yeom
Periodontist

Heyri Yeom, DDS, MS

Dr. Yeom was born in Seoul, Korea. After graduating from high school, she began a long journey of dental education. She received her DDS from the School of Dentistry, Seoul National University in 1993. After graduation, Dr. Yeom continued her dental education specializing in Periodontics at Seoul National University Dental Hospital, where she completed a three year residency program. While she attended in Perio-Residency Program, Dr. Yeom pursued her Master Degree in Graduate School of Seoul National University (Periodontology). Dr. Yeom continued her career in Samsung Medical Center and Asan Medical Center as a Perio Fellow for three more years.

Dr. Yeom’s passions in Periodontology lead her to the US. She received her second Perio-Residency training in Indiana University School of Dentistry between 2002 and 2005, where she also earned Master Degree. After this long journey, Dr. Yeom has settled down in the Seattle- Bellevue area since 2006. Dr.Yeom enjoys her position with SunriseDental with her highest priority is a close doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Yeom treats all spectrums in Perio-Implant therapies including Sinus Augmentation and extensive bone graft surgeries. She focuses on excellence with updated technology.

Dr. Yeom has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (Board Certified Periodontist) since 2007. She is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.
